FRENCH STYLE EXAMPLES

The Petit Trianon - This architectural gem is located in the Estate of Marie-Antoinette on the grounds of the palace of Versaille. Relatively small, the front facade is based on a triple door rythm with two side wings. The tall french doors are punctuated by square windows above. A collonade surrounding the central three apertures adds depth to the design.

Many of the French homes make use of the roof space by incorporating dormers into the roof space. These can be finished with custom designed stone surrounds as in the example on the right.
