CAPE VERNACULAR STYLE FARMHOUSES

The CROYDON CLUB HOUSE is a bold example of the style. The architect designed a single storey building with a symmetrical facade, and a large central entrance door. The side windows deviate from the small windows typical of the Vernacular style, and have been replaced large doors and shutters of aluminium, lending a more modern look to the architecture.
